​Ryszard Zadow has owned and flown Rutan Aircraft for over 35 years and founded RAFE to spread the word about the mission and tell the story of the dedication, the commitment and the spirit poured into the aircraft designed by Burt Rutan and built by the Owners. The goal to be an inspiration to others to build, to fly, to dream.

Robert Harris oversees the design, repair, and maintenance of the RAFE fleet and donated planes. This really comes naturally to Robert as he was the Director of Maintenance for a large turbine airplane operations. Robert's 30 years of experience in the building, modification, repair and maintaining of Canard aircraft means he knows exactly when and how projects need to be completed. 

Rick started flying at 14.....a long time ago.....I think Orville was involved.  His flying  experience reads as a who’s who.  CFI, MEI, turbine, helicopter, round engine, seaplane and hot air balloon. 

Mike’s experience is vast to say the least.  He is an aircraft builder/owner/pilot and is proficient on the milling machine and metal lathe, master welder, structural engineer, fluid dynamic operation design, fiberglass fabricator and makes some really mean Bar-B-Que.

Steve is the turbine engine wizard.  Steve will tear down the jet engine to nothing but a pile of parts, put it all back together and run it. He also oversees the engine operations and maintenance during test flights.

The electronics Guru. If it deals with electrons, Terry knows how. Terry is a retired computer code and software writer. He bought his Vari Eze which he still owns to this day, along with a Cherokee.
