Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience David Brown LongEZ is being featured as “Airplane of the Month” at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston Texas.
The LongEZ is a very inspiring aircraft and the David Brown LongEZ has an inspiring story to go along with it. David spent 30 years building his LongEZ but never gave up! Now part of the RAFE fleet of donated Rutan designs, RAFE has been flying the David Brown LongEZ to airshows and events across the country and even became first LongEZ to ever land in Cuba, carrying with it the never give up message.
RAFE Pilots and volunteers will be available each Saturday in August from 10 am to 2 pm and will answer questions about the construction, operation and adventurers attainable in a Burt Rutan designed homebuilt aircraft.
What a great honor to be chosen as Airplane of the Month.
