Burt Rutan honored with AOPA's R.A. "Bob" Hoover Award!

I am proud to announce the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association has asked the Rutan Aircraft Flying Experience to be involved with getting the news out that the recipient of

AOPA's 2020 R.A. "Bob" Hoover Award will be Burt Rutan!

Through a virtual ceremony at 8 p.m. EST on Feb. 3 AOPA President and CEO Mark Baker and emcee Rob Reider will host a 45-minute ceremony featuring live and taped presentations with Burt and the other winners: USAF Brig. Gen Charles McGee, Legacy Flight Academy founder Kenyatta Ruffin, and Boris Popov, founder of whole-aircraft parachute manufacturer BRS Aerospace.
